Mr Richie Rich! 3 Things That Will Make You Rich

Mr Richie Rich! 3 Things That Will Make You Rich

Hello Young people! these thoughts will make you Mr Richie Rich! in programming yourself for a great life, consider these three things. They'd make you rich. So here we go-

1. OPPORTUNITY
Opportunities always come in disguise this why there are few rich men in the world because not many recognize opportunity when it comes. Opportunities come as work; they often require action or effort and since most people don't like to work, they miss opportunity.

When a lazy man is given work, he sees it as oppression meanwhile that's his opportunity. Work is a challenge to innovate, to harness and put to work all your learning and potential, to display your uniqueness and consequently attract the attention of forces that can promote you but lazy people don't know this!

'The diligent find freedom in their work; the lazy are oppressed by work'. (PRO 12:24 TLB).
'Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave'. (PRO 12:24 NLT).
Lazy people become slaves of the system and they complain the most! To read, to research, to take steps towards self improvement require dedication, commitment and action and not many are ready to put in these so they miss opportunities that they could have seized and blame everything and everyone else but themselves!

'Lazy men are soon poor; hard workers get rich'. (PRO 10:4 TLB)
'Lazy people irritate their employers, like vinegar to the teeth or smoke in the eyes'.(PRO 10:26 NLT)
'A lazy person is as bad as someone who destroys things'. (PRO 18:9 NLT)

Folks, when there's work, a need or a just cause, champion it, lead! Never hide behind or dodge the challenge of providing solutions to difficult tasks. Only leaders change the world, slaves don't change the world. You want to be rich? become a leader! Leadership is a wonderful opportunity! I disagree with this new idea of leading from behind though i have an idea of what they're trying to propound, but all leadership is from the front! You've got to be ahead to be followed! In the teaching 7 Challenges to winning your fight of faith, our Man of God Pastor Chris expounded on the challenge of leadership and the challenge of opportunity etc. get a hold of that CD and digest it.
I refuse to be lazy!

2.  CONNECTIONS
First with God, with your man of God and with your world. Make friends, the right friends. Make friends with right people, in the right places. There are people who as they move through in life, ignore some vital people they once met, knew or worked for or with, they change contacts like you change dresses. Once they meet a new influential person, they disconnect from the previous one until the meet the next higher person and the trend continues. One day when the bubble bursts, they've no one to go to- cos they all became history!

Your friends are the projection of your future. How rich are you here? Pay into your 'friendship investment bank'! Value people..treat people right. Be nice! Nice to everybody! Move with like-minded people, who share your dreams after all a 2" x 2" mind cannot comprehend your 10" x 10" idea or dream- the eagle that wants to fly has no business mingling too long with chickens. Learn to share or give gifts. Our ministry materials are ideal gifts. Use your gifts to unlock doors and make friends positively.

'Here’s the lesson:Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home'. ( LUKE 16:9 NLT)
'A gift does wonders; it will bring you before men of importance!'. (PRO 18:16 TLB)

3. INFORMATION
The difference between the rich and the poor is information; what they know. What information do u have? What skills do you have; what do you know how to do? This can make you wanted or ignored!
Knowledge broadens your mind, your world view and unleashes your capacity to innovate, conceptualize and create so READ! READ MORE! and READ AGAIN! Read the right books, read the right stuff. Reading does wonders for you! The Internet is a repository of immense information; use it productively to school you! There is no justification for ignorance in today's world. How how many life building materials do you have on your iPad or is it a tool for receiving emails and playing games? You like pinging on BB but do you have a little idea of the technology that makes that possible? If you're not informed in today's world, you'll end up deformed. In your field of endeavour or your craft, what do you know? Know your field so well- become an expert! and then learn a little about other things. BECOME VAST & KNOWLEDGEABLE! Learn about current trends, new innovations- get on d Internet & read, attend relevant courses & trainings etc. Recognize that you're in a rapidly changing world where yesterday's know-how is expired and today's competence & expertise is in much demand.

Most of all people, never become such a guru that you can no more learn- unteachable! When you stop learning, you start dying! Learning makes you wake up inspired with new dreams everyday..looking forward to the start of every new day with great hopes and expectations. I am a learner!

'Above all and before all, do this: Get Wisdom! Write this at the top of your list: Get Understanding! Throw your arms around her--believe me, you won't regret it; never let her go--she'll make your life glorious. She'll garland your life with grace, she'll festoon your days with beauty'. (PRO 4:7-9)

Consider these thoughts and act today. God bless you.

How to prepare Okro Soup (Naija style)

Okra soup is one of the most popular Nigerian soup, I like this soup because it is very easy to prepare and likely the cheapest soup in Nigeria. I remember making a pot of (Okra) Okro soup with just two hundred and fifty Naira, (10 years ago)… more like a one dollar soup. I used frozen fish, Okra and some other ingredients to prepare the soup, then you could buy a good frozen fish with just forty or fifty Naira, I am talking about the “good old days”. Okra soup is one of the most common soups eaten by the people of Igbo, often it is combined with ogbono for best result, you can learn more here about making Nigerian Ogbolo(ogbono) soup. There are several reasons why I like this soups above other Nigerian soups, the most outstanding reason being that kids love it, I learned that the best way to introduce eba or fufu to kids is to serve with Okra or ogbolo soup, this way it would be very easy for them to swallow, I have tried it and found that it works perfect. Sliced...
