Arsene Wenger (Arsenal Boss) has been offered a new two-year contract, extending his 21-year reign at the club. Club owner Stan Kroenke and Wenger met on Monday to determine the Frenchman’s future, with the decision relayed to directors at yesterday board meeting. Arsenal are planning to make an official announcement today. The Frenchman's future was shrouded in uncertainty ahead of last weekend's FA Cup final against Chelsea. Arsenal emerged victorious, despite being underdogs against the newly-crowned Premier League champions, and the club are now poised to confirm Wenger's stay at the club. Arsenal were fifth in the Premier League this season, the first time they have finished outside the top four since the Frenchman joined in 1996.

Fortune has smiled on a Nigerian couple after 17 years of trying to conceive. United States -based Adeboye and Ajibola Taiwo have just been blessed with septuplets: three boys and three girls. The children were born on May 11 at VCU Medical center in Richmond, Virginia. They said they were actually expecting four after hearing four heartbeats when they went to their first ultrasound in November.  The story changed however in January during another ultrasound when they were told of two more. Their thrill knew no bounds. A team of 40 medical professionals were on hand to help deliver the babies through c-section. Barcelona will take on Alaves in the final of the Copa del Rey. The Blaugrana will be looking to win the trophy as a scant consolation for what has been a very difficult season for them. At least 22 people have died and 59 more were injured after a   terrorist bombing   t ore through an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, police have said. Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said the sole attacker died in the explosion.  Mr Hopkins said the lone male attacker, who died in the blast, was carrying an improvised explosive device which he detonated.  Mr Hopkins said: "This has been the most horrific incident we have had to face in Greater Manchester and one that we all hoped we would never see. "Families and many young people were out to enjoy a concert at the Manchester Arena and have lost their lives.
